Workshops

Update:

During the pandemic I will not be running any workshops. I will update this page when I start to run workshops again. In the meantime, I am happy to offer advice if you contact me. Keep safe!

I often run linocut workshops, mostly at the Somerset Guild of Craftsmen’s gallery in Wells, Somerset, and also at events around the West Country.

I run an introductory workshop that will teach you all about mark making and takes you through the process of transferring images, cutting lino and printing. On this workshop you learn about tools, techniques, mark making, ink and paper and you should go away with a printed image and enough knowledge to get you started in printmaking.

I also run a multi-colour linocut workshop. This shows you a better technique for registering your prints. The focus is all on accurate registration and multiple colours (and not so much on mark making). It helps if you have taken the introductory workshop first.

If you are interested in going on a workshop, email me or leave a comment here on my blog.
